PROF. RINO CHOI

Rino Choi is currently a professor in department of materials science and engineering at Inha University, Korea. His main research interests include semiconductor device processes and reliability for logic and memory applications. Novel semiconductor and nanoelectronic device fabrication processes, characterization and modeling are also actively researched. From Jan, 2012 to Feb., 2014, he worked as a program director in Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MoCIE, a Korean governmental ministry) R&D program whose assignment is to identify research priorities for semiconductor industry. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in the Materials Science and Engineering from the Seoul National University in 1992 and 1994, respectively. He earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering Program in 2004 from the University of Texas at Austin. From 1994 to 1999, he was a Senior Engineer at Daewoo Motors Company, Korea. From 2004 to 2007, he organized and managed an electrical characterization and reliability project team in SEMATECH, a world largest semiconductor consortium
